HOW TO APPLY

Read all enclosed information carefully before completing the application. Complete the attached application form in English or in your native language with a full certified English translation. Answer every question completely and carefully. Type or print neatly in black ink. Please make sure you have enclosed all required documents with your application and arranged them in a required order (please see page 10). Please keep one copy for your records and submit the original application with all supporting documents to the local Soros/ Open Society Foundation, Scholarships Office or Educational Advising Center (addresses attached) in your home country, in the country where you study, OR to the following address:

Important!!!
Please note that incomplete and late applications will be immediately disqualified from the competition. Soros Supplementary Grant recipients from previous years may reapply if they are eligible but must submit a new complete application.

The results of the SSGP competition will be announced by July 30, 2004. Please contact your national Soros/ Open Society Foundation (see addresses attached) to learn the results.
