CHEVENING/UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER 2004-2005
SCHOLARSHIPS
FOR MA COURSES IN ECONOMICS
The Open Society Institute, the Foreign
and Commonwealth Office and the University of Manchester
invite applications for the above scholarships in the
School of Economic Studies. Applicants will normally
be expected to be under 35 years old, be both nationals
of and resident in Mongolia.
A number of specialisations are available,
including economics, econometrics, development economics
and agricultural and environmental economics.
Applicants should have outstanding academic
qualifications and good English. Each scholarship provides
one year's tuition fees at the University of Manchester,
a stipend to cover living costs (for one person only),
and return air travel from the scholar's home country.
On completion of the scholarship, scholars are expected
to return to Mongolia to resume their studies or work
there.
