Test (SAT I)
The SAT I: Reasoning Test is required
of all first year applicants. The SAT*I measures your
verbal and math reasoning abilities

A: The SAT*1, or Scholastic
Aptitude Test for Reasoning Skills, measures student
aptitude in the following areas: |

- analogies (19 questions)
- sentence completions (19 questions)
- critical reading (40 questions) |

(arithmetic, algebra, geometry, quantitative comparisons
and using grids) |

o multiple-choice (35
questions)
- quantitative comparisons (15 questions that emphasize
the concepts of equalities, inequalities, and estimation)
- student-produced response (10 questions that have
no answer choices provided) |
| Can I use a calculator
for the math section? |

- It is recommended to
bring and use a calculator. Four-function, scientific,
or graphing calculators are acceptable.How long
